You haven’t lived until you’ve experienced a Johannesburg City Tour. South Africa has such a rich history and Joburg, as the locals call it, is teeming with it. You will step into places where great men and women have been – people who fought in the struggle for freedom in South Africa. Afterwards, you will enjoy a hearty lunch at a favourite local hangout.
There will be time to do some shopping at the Sandton City Shopping Centre so be sure to bring some money for spending.
Find out more about the Johannesburg City Tour.
Soweto is teeming with history and culture and you are going to enjoy learning about its character and sub-cultures. Soweto gets its name from South Western Township.
Vilakazi street is a famous street that houses the Mandela House, Winnie Mandela House and the Tutu House… a must see on any visit to South Africa.
Afterward, we will enjoy some local cuisine.

Elephant Sanctuary
We will then visit a sanctuary for elephants in Hartbeespoort, where you will be able to interact with them. This is a highlight of the tour for many as it offers the opportunity for a visitor to walk hand in trunk with the elephants.
After our interaction with the elephants, we will head back to the hotel where you can rest and freshen up.

Lesedi Cultural Village
A visit to South Africa would be incomplete without the opportunity to learn about the many diverse cultures that we as a rainbow nation have. After breakfast, we will head to over to Magaliesburg where we will visit a cultural village that radiates the essence of our heritage.
You can immerse yourself in a cultural tour that will connect the past with the present. Lunch will be served African style at the restaurant at the village.
There is a Curio shop on the premises, so you will be able to purchase keepsakes or little souvenirs for those at home.

Day 3 – Sun 22 June 2025
Kingdom Community SA
Join Hosts Ambs Charlie and Xoli Masala, co-founders of Kingdom Community SA (KCSA), for a special diplomat briefing session. From its inception in 2021, the ministry has grown from strength to strength. They celebrated their 3rd anniversary on 5 June 2024.
In establishing Kingdom Community, Charlie and Xoli Masala wish to honour the legacy of Myles Munroe by continuing to help people reach their God-given potential, teach the Kingdom message and establish Kingdom communities.

Day 4 – Mon 23 June 2025

Day 6 – Wed 25 June 2025
Cape Point
We will visit the Cape Point, which is situated about 50 km (31 mi) south of Cape Town, South Africa. For centuries, the Cape of Good Hope was a symbol of discovery for sailors and explorers, and today it remains a bucket-list destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
One of the most charming attractions near the Cape of Good Hope is Boulders Beach, home to a unique colony of African penguins. These tuxedoed birds, waddling along the shore or taking a swim in the clear waters, are a delight for visitors. For those looking for panoramic views, the historic Cape Point lighthouse offers a stunning vantage point over the ocean.

Depart to Johannesburg
We will head back to Johannesburg in the afternoon. On arrival at Lanseria Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can spend the afternoon at your leisure.
You can explore the local area or do a little shopping. Just arrange with the tour director so that transport will be available.

Day 7 – Thurs 24 June 2025
Safari Visit at a Game Lodge
A Safari drive in the South African bush is a highlight not to be missed. We will visit a private game lodge and embark on a safari & game drive experience with qualified rangers and trackers on a well-maintained fleet of game safari vehicles– taking you to the best lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, cheetah and hippo sightings imaginable.
Other species one can expect to see are Giraffe, Eland, Kudu, Impala, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest (Gnu), Red Hartebeest, Tsessebe, Water buck, Warthog, Black-backed Jackal, Crocodile, Ostrich, Aardwolf, Aardvark, Brown Hyena, Caracal, Serval, Porcupine, Genet (small-spotted and large-spotted) and the occasional Leopard. The safari vehicles traverse over 8 000 hectares of indigenous bush vegetation, increasing the chances of good animal sightings
Union Buildings
A visit to the Union buildings will not go remiss. As the official seat of the South African Government, the Union buildings house the Presidency. You will visit the exquisite gardens where a larger-than-life statue of Nelson Mandela stands.
In 1994, the buildings were the scene of much jubilation as they played host to the inauguration of former President Nelson Mandela, South Africa’s first democratically elected President, and heralded the beginning of a new era in South Africa’s history.
